Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who are applying for the SSC JE Recruitment should have the following eligibility criteria
- Degree or Diploma in relevant Engineering Discipline from a recognized University or Institution
- Candidates who are applying for experienced posts should have the relevant experience certificates
- Also, candidates should have the upper Age Limit of 30 years and 32 years (depends on the post type) for Junior Engineers in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations as on 01-01-2020. However, Age relaxation is permissible for reserved candidates
Application Fee
Application fee of Rs.100/- can be paid through any of the Online channels including BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Also, candidates should pay the application fee up to 14th September, 2019 (5 PM). Moreover, candidates with already generate challan of SBI can pat the Fee till 16th, September, 2019. Make sure to genereate this challan before 14th September, 2019 (5:00 PM).

Selection Process for SSC JE Recruitment
Candidates selection is based on the performance in Paper-I and Paper-II and the preference of Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/ EWS and 20% for Others. Based on the performance in the Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II. Similarly, Based on the performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification. Candidates has the choice of choosing their examination centers while filling their application form.
Test Pattern: Candidates who are applying for the Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams will be having the following exam pattern. The Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions which will be set both in English & Hindi. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1. Also, note that Slide–Rule, Calculator, Logarithm Table and Steam Table are not allowed for Paper 1 Exam, allowed only for Paper 2 Exam.
