The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a yearly examination for engineering students interested in M.E./ M.Tech/ PhD programmes at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, or a high-profile employment in the public sector. Each year, the GATE Exam Pattern and Syllabus are almost the same. When the test pattern changes, the information will be updated. GATE 2023 Result – How Marks will be Calculated?

The candidate’s true (raw) GATE 2023 score will be calculated once the replies have been analysed. For examinations (subjects) that span many sessions, candidates’ raw results will be converted to subject-specific normalised marks. As a result, the GATE score 2023 will be based on the qualifying marks and determined using raw results (for single-session examinations) or normalised scores (for multiple-session exams).

GATE 2023 Scorecard

GATE 2023 scorecard will include the candidate’s name, grade, All India Rank, normalised score, and other pertinent information. Only those who pass the GATE with a qualifying score will be labelled “Qualified” and will be eligible to apply for admission or employment.

GATE 2023 scorecards are considered valid for three years. Thus candidates should save a copy for future reference. However, it should be noted that the scorecard validity for such a long duration may not apply to PSU recruiting unless it is stated explicitly in the recruitment advertisement.
